April 2006 Meeting
Software Rollouts
and the New Face of Training
For this upcoming
meeting, co-sponsored by the ILTA (formerly LawNet), we’ll be taking a look at the
new methods law firms are using to train their users . Traditional instructor-led classroom
training is still a viable and valuable option, but technology has allowed for other
methods that are gaining acceptance and desirability .
At the meeting we’ll
have presenters from the Training Departments of three prominent law firms
speaking about recent software rollouts and how they handled training
requirements. We’ll hear about the use of webinars in a
classroom setting and using e-learning software for various types of rollouts
including Interwoven Matter Centric and Interface Interaction.
A lunch will be catered compliments of King, Herpel and Associates. We would like to thank our speakers and the firm of O’Melveny & Myers for accommodating us with this session.
