The agenda for this meeting was a round-table discussion of issues facing firms in establishing and maintaining a help-desk to support Microsoft Word and related products. Firms to shared concerns and solutions to some of the obstacles facing Help-Desk Staff in the support of users in a Word environment. Both remote access and call tracking software were discussed.
Presenting at this meeting was Ashley Leonard, President of Network Dynamics Corporation in Newport Beach California. Network Dynamics are Intels Western Region Value Added Reseller of LANDesk. Both Intel and Network Dynamics personnel were on-hand to present a demo of the product.
Also presenting at the meeting was communications expert David Dworski, who teaches communication skills to organizations and corporations nationwide. David is a Yale graduate with a Masters Degree in Psychology. He has provided communications training for such organizations as The Gap, Eli Lilly & Co., Prudential Realty, Sony Corporation, VW/Audi USA, and Harvard Law School. David presented strategies for dealing with communication issues while manning a help-desk. David Dworksi can be reached through the offices of King-Herpel.
